Knowing, uncertainty

You are walking along a pleasant trail in the park when towards you comes a woman out for a run accompanied by her dog on its leash. As they come closer, you notice the dog has a baby-sized sneaker in its mouth. They are past you and gone before you know it.

There are two things to think of here:

1. Appearances can be deceiving.
2. Where is the baby?

Some things you will never find out, and you will need to make your peace with that fact.
