Knowing, uncertainty

You are walking along a pleasant trail in the park when towards you comes a woman out for a run accompanied by her dog on its leash. As they come closer, you notice the dog has a baby-sized sneaker in its mouth. They are past you and gone before you know it.

There are two things to think of here:

1. Appearances can be deceiving.
2. Where is the baby?

Some things you will never find out, and you will need to make your peace with that fact.

One response to “Knowing, uncertainty

  1. Now this is GOOD–I need to ponder that I may never know, and leave it at that, stop all the “thinkin’ about it”…. Thank you.
