Today I took a sunshine to lunch with me. The two of us met a friend, Anna, at a Japanese restaurant – her suggestion, and a good one. It was a small place in a strip center, somewhere I hadn’t been before. And lunch was absolutely delicious. I don’t eat much Japanese food, and I don’t know why, because I like it. Udon soup and sushi were just right for today.
I took some pictures, of course. But they really aren’t too well composed, and that’s because I had my mind on visiting with Anna. If you follow my art blog you may remember her and her family – we do collage together, among other things (swim meets — music concerts — reading books — taking walks around town). Every occasion is special. Today was no exception.
So the sunshine stayed behind when we left – I set it on the table next to the teapot. I went home feeling quite sunny myself.
