In Plain Sight

This tree stands just as you see it, amid a whole sea of green in Lorimer Park, where I often walk.

You usually think you’d notice tree details more in the wintertime, when everything is bare. But this tree, you’d miss it in the middle of a lot of other gray and dead-looking trees, wouldn’t you? I know I did. Not until things greened up did I notice this striking personality!

Standing out in a crowd – a matter of contrast. Take that first step and be who you are, that’s what this tree is saying, I think?
