Art Drop Off 5-20-20

Another early morning walk along the Pennypack rail trail, heading down the track from the Byberry Road entrance.

It was a chilly morning. Spring has stalled as far the temperatures, but the woods are full of blooming pink and white wild phlox. We saw them all along our route.

Here is the tile:

I’ve set it in a train control box along the trail – I’ve used this location quite a few times before, and that’s because it is so handy a showcase, right next to the trail and a good height for it to be seen.

And off we go on our way. Though it was early, about 6:15 AM, we saw people along the way, many of them familiar faces. If you are out here at this time of day, you are an experience trail-goer and out for a brisk walk, a run, or a bike ride. And once you get started in the pleasant routine, you tend to keep on, don’t you?

  1. I like the outstretched arms/wings on these bird people.

  2. I think one of them may be vogueing…
